About Sage Ceramics
I first fell in love with ceramics in 2006 whilst living in Perth, Western Australia, where I attended a course (A Year in Clay) at Fremantle Arts Centre. I continued my new found passion on my return to the UK and now work from my home studio in the pretty village of Storrington, just under the South Downs.
The majority of my pottery is wheel thrown using white and terracotta earthenware and stoneware clays; which I then decorate with underglazes, slips and coloured stoneware glazes. I find the process of creating ceramics fascinating and totally absorbing, and am constantly learning and developing my craft.
